Music Festivals are the Inspiration
As we move into summer time, it's great to reflect a bit and pull our heads out of being in pure business mode. We spend a lot of our days pushing product development forward, solving issues with our technology and customers, and dealing with moving our product and its components all around the world.
Summer is always a reminder of the exact spark that made us want to create LED art for a living in the first place — we look back at where the dream actually started.
For most of us on the Fluora team, that initial inspiration came from Music and Art festivals.
We started out as attendees, but have been lucky enough to design and create art installations at some of our favorite festivals over the years. One of our favorite recent projects has been with Electric Forest Music Festival. We built a sprawling LED Flower Garden and an immersive LED Cloud Room, both attached to the Dream Emporium inside the festival grounds. The Dream Emporium is, without a doubt, one of the most fun, whimsical places on Earth — a space built entirely for people to explore, play, and let their imaginations run completely wild.
When we build installations for music festivals is when work and play combine! Typically the builds are a little less serious - and we get to attend the festival when we're done! See some of our favorite festival pictures below.
